This was a fairly good year, fic-wise, even though my active fandoms have shrunk down to two-and-a-half. The two are Supernatural and Bleach, as I actually posted fic in those, and the half fandom is Sherlock, as I've only actually posted a couple of drabbles. Yuletide was a nice break from that rut (see my previous post for more information)

Bleach

One-shots:

What's Past is Prologue: Masaki-centric and jossed to hell and back. Still, it was fun to play with the idea of how Masaki's story might parallel Rukia's.

Q&A: A Yoruichi and Soi Fong fic written for the [community profile] halfamoon challenge. Basically, it's the aftermath of their confrontation and Soi Fong's confession.

Child's Play.: A Shunsui and Nanao piece where Nanao learns more about what makes her captain tick. Of the three one-shots I wrote, this is my favorite of the bunch.

Multi-parters:

Continued to work on Winter War with [personal profile] liralen and [personal profile] incandescens. This has continued to be a fun project, even though the subject of the fic itself is rather bleak and we've been ratcheting up quite the death toll.

I also started posting I Shall Roam the Summer Fields, which has stolen my heart like no other fic I've worked on before. I've got 7 chapters and 20,000 words posted, and quite a bit more drafted/outlined in detail, and the whole thing blocked out. Yeah, this puppy's going to be novel-length when all is said and done, and it feels like a dress-rehearsal for some original stuff I've got kicking around in my brain.

Supernatural

Five People Dean Has Screwed Who Weren't Human, One Who Doesn't Count, One He Would Have Screwed, and One He Still Might: Probably the closest I'll ever come to writing smut, either for het or for slash. It was interesting thinking of different situations where Dean would (willingly or otherwise) have sex with people who weren't human. Of the bunch, my personal favorite is Dean/Lenore.

Black Dog on My Shoulder Again. Stanford-era Sam, which is something I never would have written if I hadn't received a prompt asking for it. It was fun playing with what Sam knew vs. what the readers would know by the end of S5, especially when it came to Brady. For whatever reason, this fic didn't get quite the level of response as the others I did this year, and I'm not sure why.

Fightin' Words was a pinch hit I picked up for summergen, and oh, it was good to write comedy again.

Sherlock

I only did a couple of drabbles in response to a one-liner fic prompt I did, but I was pleased with them and will likely crosspost them at some point. All of them were crossovers, which was quite a bit of fun.

Crossover with Doctor Who: Amy and John comparing notes

Crossover with Supernatural: The boys run afoul of Lestrade during their trip to the UK.

Crossover with Neverwhere: Mycroft vs. Messrs. Croup and Vandemar

Some of these I hadn't read. I have done now, and thank you for posting the links!

Happy New Year!
