sophiap: votive candle and small, round stones on a slate ground (Default)
Today has been busy from the get-go, starting with a workout at 8:00 and going through other appointments, errands, and chores. I still have epic amounds of laundry to do, but at least the leaves got raked before it rained.

Tomorrow, I should have some good time to relax, which will mean writing and also picking up the sketchbook again as well as some knitting projects.

I'll be doing some more work on the original project, and delving back into my two Bleach fics. I'm waiting to hear back from beta and artist on the reversebang story, but barring having to do any rewrites per their feedback, that story is done. Of couse I'm whipsawing between "yeah, this is really great!" and "dear lord, it sucks," but that's just how my brain works.

Original project-wise, I'm working on plot outlines (yes, plural--going intertwiny on this) and noodling about with the main characters, trying to refine my vision of what they want, what they fear, etc. Plus, worldbuilding. Lots and lots of juicy worldbuilding.

I have been doing more sketching, but it's mostly technical exercises and fragmentary still lifes to get myself back into gear. Nothing worth posting yet, but maybe tomorrow...

Knitting. Oy. I just realized how close we are to Christmas, and my plans for knitting a number of things have been revised to knitting a smaller number of things. A couple of hats (hats are fast), a pair of socks that's already mostly done, and a sweater I started for me for last Christmas that I had let sit for nearly 10 months.

Tonight, I think I'm going to read and possibly watch a movie or two. I live such an exciting life.
