Big Bang season kicks off!

sophiapI managed to pick up three Big Bangs to work on this year, and the first one went up Monday! I had the privilege of working on a story by twisted_slinky for the Supernatural crossover Big Bang.
She wrote a wonderful SPN/TW crossover. It's a solid case fic that blends the two series wonderfully. It's set after the S2 finale of TW and in S8 of SPN.

Artist's Notes: This was done on slate blue Canson Mi-Teintes paper with pastels, pan pastels, charcoal, and extensive and repeated use of a kneaded eraser. Lettering was done with SketchBook Pro in Nanum Brush Script.

Date: 2013-06-27 01:43 am (UTC)I'm about 70% done with BB #2, which posts July 8, and then I have three weeks to get the third one done - all I have are concept sketches. So far, I'm really happy with what I've done. I'm doing pastels again for BB#2, but the picture is very close to monochrome and is an actual scene rather than 'cover concept,' if that makes sense.
